LADEANA MICHELLE: New Vegan, New Dance Single, New Mag Cover, New Life

It is official

The multi-talented reppin’-for-the-brown-babes LaDeana Michelle has indeed gone public with her transition from vegetarianism to veganism after shedding 21 pounds in 10 days on The Master Cleanse (Stanley Burroughs, 1976) this year.  So, basically, there’s no more cheese, eggs, or buttermilk pancakes.

Oh, the horror!

How on earth will she do it?

That is a huge step for a soul-food lover.  However, I believe that Vegan soul-food exists.  I wouldn't want any of it but who's asking?

Back to the diva at hand.

No idea why everybody is calling The Master Cleanse or “Lemonade Diet” the “Beyonce Diet”. WTH? Okay, yes. Beyonce lost 20 pounds in 10 days doing the cleanse, but honey, LaDeana Michelle had already been doing the cleanse for over seven years before Dreamgirls, and eons before the thought of such movie idea even manifested through the brilliant mind of Director Bill Condon.  In fact, it was The Master Cleanse that LaDeana Michelle credits for originally catapulting her into vegetarianism over a decade ago.  Whoomp! There it is.

It is Stanley Burroughs’ diet since 1976 and it works.  We’re not talking about all these variations of it. We are talking about his version cut and dry, to the penny. That is the regimen LaDeana Michelle follows. Her camp reports that she’s never felt better after becoming a full Vegan and has not gained the weight back from this year’s Master Cleanse that launched her new lifestyle.  Marinate on that one.

Then Miss Natalie Portman announced she gave up veganism because of her cravings for eggs and dairy during pregnancy. As she very well should have. Let us do what we need to do for the unborn babies and then do us, later. So…does this make LaDeana Michelle the new poster girl for the strict Vegan lifestyle? Yessss.

Oh, and it’s not just this Vegan thang, honey. Miss girl graces the cover of SayWhatNews online entertainment magazine this month, with an exclusive candid interview.
She is also releasing a fiery hot new party joint (from her forthcoming debut album – album title to be announced soon) entitled, “Like It’s Your Birthday” impacting on www.ladeanamichelle.com tomorrow, June 29th, 2011 and CD Baby, iTunes and worldwide, thereafter.

Preview the track HERE.

Don’t get me wrong. I like her other music, but she is so much more than a balladeer, or a slow-groove girl – or whatever title that floats one’s boat. This new track will have you up out of that chair on the dance floor, getting the sheet music for your band gigs and finding karaoke versions for your own parties.  LaDeana Michelle’s “Like It’s Your Birthday” has that similar “feel-good” quality of the legendary Patrice Rushen’s “Haven’t You Heard”.

This one’s gonna move ya’. Guaranteed.

Not to mention the track’s HOT cover that features LaDeana Michelle ironically in nothing but her birthday suit, tastefully covered by royal blue material (Vegan material, I’m guessing?).
I guess when Vegans go natural, they are not kidding around.  However, the whole thing is relatively innocent, tasteful and actually, quite fun.  In fact, the photo is from Miss Thing’s recent “Vegan Shoot” – where she went all-natural – baring that beautiful, brown glowing skin underneath wisps of colored, Vegan sheets.
Waist-length, natural braids have temporarily replaced her long, curly ringlets, but provide her with an “island-exotic” look. I have to say it. The chick is FIERCE. All-natural. The “birthday suit” photo is also featured as a promo on www.ladeanamichelle.com.

You can also go from there to preview and download the dance track.

She will launch her official MySpace site, along with an all-new fan site (www.ladeanamichelle.net) main site (www.ladeanamichelle.com) and a slew of additional, mainstream social sites. She is also completing a new book, in talks for film production, preparing to partner with various Vegan organizations, is set to open a unique, boutique store (with future shoe, clothing, handbag, doll and cosmetic lines) and launch real-estate development projects and foundation-based social programs dedicated to help the homeless, the abused, underprivileged youth and starving children worldwide.

LaDeana Michelle is beautiful, talented, different and unpredictable and marches to the beat of her own symphony (a drum would not be enough for her).

It’s why we love her. She is what she is.

Rumor is, her highly-anticipated debut album drops later on this year - October, 2011. Until then, please join us in welcoming the newest, sexiest VEGAN female producer, songwriter, songbird vocalist, arranger, actress and more to the next-level road to greatness.

It’s all the way up from here.

Pop/Soul/R&B Artist LaDeana Michelle’s New Teaser EP “Bringing Love Back” Sparks High Album Anticipation

First off, ELM would like to extend our prayers and condolences to the people of Haiti.  Words cannot express the degree of loss suffered. We would like to encourage everyone to do everything they can to help, i.e. donate money, clothing, toiletries, etc.  It is reported that LaDeana Michelle is working hard to get donations over to Haiti and on a situation to provide larger aid through the American Red Cross.  An informational site on how to help Haiti, posted by Twitter investor, Chris Sacca, can be found here:

(Click the text to go to the site)

************************************
Also, we’d like to send out condolences to the family and friends of soul legend, Teddy Pendergrass, whose hit songs from the 70’s, “Love T.K.O.”, “Turn Off the Lights” and “Close the Door” will forever live on in music world. Pendergrass passed away Wednesday. He was 59.

***********************************

Hot off the presses, baby! As you know (if you follow this site), fast-rising Pop/Soul/R&B Producer, Singer and Songwriter LaDeana Michelle has released a final, teaser EP entitled, “Bringing Love Back”, a move that will multiply her rapidly-growing fan base worldwide, for her highly-anticipated, forthcoming 2010 debut album.

***********************************

“Bringing Love Back”, written, produced and arranged by the multi-faceted artist, yields strong encouragement for lovers or those seeking to be in love and includes the sensually-charged singles, “Long Night”, “My Honey” and “Just Ask”.  All three songs offer heartfelt vocals, profound lyrics and a sultry blend of R&B, Pop, Adult Contemporary and Soul.  The concept for “Bringing Love Back” was created by LaDeana Michelle during the heaviest part of the U.S. economy’s recession and received the highest ratings by all 100 parties (of mixed nationalities) in a recent focus study preview for the release.

“Long Night”, the first single from the EP, is currently spinning on several radio stations and has an accompanying video, uploaded to all major broadcasters (YouTube, Daily Motion, etc.) for video sharing.

“Bringing Love Back is also a part of LaDeana Michelle’s 2nd Annual “Love Quarter” campaign, which kicked off January 1st-March 31st, set to run for the next nine years. The notable campaign promotes love, social awareness, unity and change through music & visual arts.  In addition to her current video “Long Night”, her campaign has rendered her other highly-rated videos, “Believe”, honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and President Obama, which was featured in The Urban Music Scene online magazine & reportedly received the most hits ever recorded by the magazine in its history, the “SEVEN” mini-movie, featuring clips of seven of her self-produced songs over images of widespread issues such as love/relationships, racism, the homeless, genocide, starvation and more, “Keep Your Faith”, the Official Barack Obama Inauguration Song, and “Rare”, her inspiring tribute dedication to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

LaDeana Michelle's "Bringing Love Back" - Have U Heard It Yet?

LaDeana Michelle. Yeah, baby. We are talking about the beautiful, sultry songwriter, producer, multi-octave vocalist, author, actress, screenwriter and more. She is the same intelligent charmer with a tall resume and a laundry list of endless skills, who first gave us unforgettable visuals and distinctive vocal abilities on Keep Your Faith”, the official “2009 Barack Obama Inauguration Song” and followed that up with the emotionally-charged “Believe”, honoring Dr. Martin Luther King.

She took things a step further and dangled more of herself in mid-air with the release of the mini-movie (if you will) entitled, “Seven", a compelling video embodying six of her most requested songs, and a bonus song that surprised many—while highlighting issues such as genocide, starvation, racism, hatred, and at the same time, the clear message of love. (“Seven” was fire, btw).

The loveable stunner went on to grace us with a steaming hot Valentine’s Day release, “Inside Love’s Window”, which featured her timeless, most requested romantic ballads “I Can’t” and “More Than Friends”, previously featured on The Urban Music Scene, which ranked #1 in two top ten R&B and Urban charts and placed LaDeana Michelle as a top 25 artist overall on Soundclick, a music-based, social community that reports over 3 million songs, 436,000 bands and artists, and close to 4 million registered members. Each and every song/video LaDeana Michelle released was a branch from her official 2009 “Love Quarter” campaign--a campaign which promotes love, social awareness, unity and change through music and visual arts from January 1st through March 31st, set to run every first quarter for the next nine years. We curiously opened our eyes to see what this gorgeous relative of soul legends Sam Cooke and Eddie Kendricks (Temptations) had to offer.

And then there was….silence. Or so it appeared. Wait---did we forget?

Everything we’ve heard up to this moment has been merely previews to one of the hottest talents to come. It’s what happens when a multi-faceted producer like her, or like similar predecessors Prince, R. Kelly, Ne-Yo, etc. has tons of songs in their arsenal, or writes and records endless songs per week, as she does. Many didn’t realize LaDeana Michelle was never officially released to the world yet. Her camp was merely responding to “leaks” of her music, events and the way she feels about world issues (i.e. our historic new President). Apparently, many of the websites associated with her name were merely sites put up by fans—none of them truly official at all. Her official MySpace, Facebook, Bebo and Black Planet sites have not been released yet. Then, there’s the hot joints pounding away on her website, www.ladeanamichelle.com, and on her popular fansite, www.ladeanamichelle.net, of which is probably not from her forthcoming album either, but is sparking flames just the same. Unmistakably desirable, LaDeana Michelle further draws you in, with her sexy-but-classy photos, delivering her usual sweet spark and dark, sexy curls to compliment that smooth, brown skin we love. Yep. Shawty got us ablaze.

Additionally, her trademark slogan, “Changing lives one day at a time” became highly infectious. Still is. The moment people heard this beauty’s voice, they wanted more….craved more and are still waiting, watching and wondering—where is that “more”—the “more” that will help change lives one day at a time? Where is she? Why the silence? Why has LaDeana Michelle stopped being publicly “spotted” around both the Los Angeles and Bay Areas? Why has she not Twittered in forever, or shown up on any of her social sites? Michael Jackson’s passing forced a turn in things. LaDeana Michelle responded with a “Rare” video tribute on YouTube, honoring the fallen icon. People deeply felt her distinctive, melodic voice as they mourned in unison around the world.

Then "Bringing Love Back" hit us like a hydrogen bomb—without any advance warning.

There it was…in your face…an explosion mix of three of the most sensual, sexy, romantically-charged songs you ever want to hear in a row. We didn’t see them coming—no press releases, no forewarnings on her websites—nothing. Yet, fans all over the world are catching wind and rushing to catch up to the hype. Rave reviews are pouring in all over, as the rush for fans and new admirers to have LaDeana Michelle’s latest release is looking a bit like Black Friday. After all…how could we stand to not have it?

It is a lovers’ mix. There couldn’t have been a better title for this release. Love is back through LaDeana Michelle. No dupes—she is the current trendsetter of what’s been missing. Her unique voice, style and swagger is rhythmic silk, baby. She is mysterious and unpredictable, but irresistibly addictive. In a time of world unrest, LaDeana Michelle is undoubtedly yielding that one crucial thing in its purest form that the world seems to be devoid of: Love.

"Bringing Love Back" is undiluted fire. If you don’t yet have it, this oversight should change on your next mouse click.

G’head. Do it. You won’t regret it.

LaDeana Michelle Delivers Big With “RARE” on YouTube for the Late Michael Jackson

To say one can "talk something up" is an understatement.

Shortly after our last article on LaDeana Michelle, she surprised everyone with “Rare”--an emotional pop-song video tribute on YouTube--to the late, legendary Michael Jackson. Apparently, she was just as devastated as the rest of the world upon news of his untimely passing and wanted to share her opinion of the icon.

According to LaDeana Michelle, who wrote, produced, arranged, composed and performed “Rare”, the song’s lyrics describe how fans who loved him truly felt---admirers, who, like LaDeana, thought the nickname of “Jacko” was degrading. Fans were “in love” with Michael—not necessarily in a romantic way, but with an unyielding bond, adoration and respect. “Fans either grew up listening to Michael since he was a child, or came to know Michael just by one of the many entertainment contributions he showered the world with. Young or old, rich or poor, no one could deny his talent and imprint upon the world.” LaDeana says.

With LaDeana Michelle’s beautiful, impressive voice behind it, the “Rare” video features excerpts from Michael Jackson’s most memorable videos such as “Thriller”, “Beat It”, “Remember the Time”, “Billie Jean” (Motown live performance), “Smooth Criminal”, and heartfelt footage of Michael as a caring, humanitarian that saved the life of a young child in need of a liver, and visited just as many orphanages and hospitals as he performed in concerts.

The video also features Michael Jackson and family members in rather enjoyable, sequential montages dating back from the time he was a very young boy, up to the time of his death.

LaDeana Michelle yet again hits home with another great tribute—on this account---honoring one of the best entertainers of all time.
